Why coaching?
Coaching is the Goldilocks of LSAT prep. While live courses might give you structure and support, they lack the personalized attention and focus on drilling/skill building that is needed to succeed on test day. Self study, on the other hand, can leave you to wander around for months without knowing what you’re doing or why you’re doing it. Coaching with Apollo gives you all of the guidance and structure of a course, with the personalization of self-study.
Why does the LSAT matter?
The real value of a good lsat score is incalculable. But if we had to put a number on it, $250,000 would be about right. That’s the value of the full tuition scholarship (not even including savings on interest, higher earning potential, etc.) that a good LSAT score will get you. While the LSAT is a lot of work, and quality prep isn’t cheap, it’s an investment that will pay off like nothing else.
How long do I need to study?
Like everything on the LSAT, there’s no one-size-fits-all answer. Most people will need about 200-300 hours of at-home drilling to reach their full potential. Depending on how many hours you have to study per week and how efficient your prep is, that could take anywhere from 4-8 months.
